Arrival at Srinagar Airport, where you shall meet our representative and drive to the center of the city, Srinagar. Check-in at the hotel, where you can relax before a very peaceful one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake at Nehru Park, along the precious Boulevard Road. Overnight stay at the hotel to round off the first day of this awesome Kashmir trip.

After breakfast, you can enjoy taking an excursion for the full day to Sonmarg, one of the most beautiful places and also one of the most gorgeous drives from Srinagar. Stop by at many fantastic spots again to reach Sonmarg at an altitude of 2,690 meters and popularly referred to as the "Meadow of Gold." Horse rides are possible here at your own expense, to go to the lovely Thajwas Glacier, which is snow-covered throughout the year. Sonmarg is also the Gateway to Ladakh. At the end of the day, you would go back to your hotel in Srinagar, where you will find delicious dinner and very special memories for a night-happy experience on your Kashmir trip.

Early breakfast this morning open your day for a drive to Gulmarg- the Meadows of Flowers. It is a place elevation 2730 meters above sea level. The scenic charm of the journey, covering a distance of about 60 kilometers which could be covered in about 2 hours, promises to keep you glued to the sights. Gulmarg is famous for its tastefully crafted skiing slopes and the golf course, reputed to be the highest-18-hole course in the world. Have a look at how magnificent Nanga Parbat appears over Tangmarg and the spectacular views opening up. Or you can go for a Gondola ride or a sled ride on the snow-laden slopes (at your own cost). In the evening, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay, surely making your Kashmir trip unforgettable.

This is followed by taking a day trip to Sonamarg after breakfast. The name Sonamarg is derived from the Kashmiri words 'Son' (gold) and 'Marg' (meadow), which means 'meadow of gold.' The adventure starts with the mesmerizing journey that goes through quaint little towns and populous villages on the way, with lush green paddy fields brimming with water and rivers flowing beside the road. The place is also graced with such alluring views that once in a while you have this urge to keep looking. A tourist has to visit the magnificent Thajwas Glacier near Sonamarg, which is around 4 kilometers away by hiring a local taxi or a pony ride (for personal expenses). After a days outing at Sonamarg, come back in the evening to Srinagar and spend the night at your hotel, marvelous moments with one more in a long line of memorable experiences of your Kashmir trip.
