Nepal Overview

Your adventure through Nepal begins in the vibrant capital, Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted by the Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition team. After a warm welcome, you’ll meet your bike tour guide and check all the motorcycles for your upcoming journey. Once everything is in place, you’ll head out on your motorbike, riding from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city and gateway to some of Nepal’s most popular trekking destinations. The winding roads, with plenty of twists and turns through the hills, provide a thrilling start to your journey. After a relaxing evening in Pokhara, you’ll continue towards Muktinath, a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The journey takes you through picturesque towns, natural hot springs in Tatopani, and remote villages, offering an up-close view of rural Nepal.

From Muktinath, the journey continues to Lo Manthang, the ancient walled capital of the Kingdom of Lo in Upper Mustang. En route, you’ll visit the Shija Jhong Cave, one of the many ancient man-made caves in the region, and explore the peaceful Niphu and Garphu Gompas, offering insight into the rich Buddhist culture of the area. Lo Manthang itself, with its whitewashed mud-brick buildings and narrow alleys, offers a glimpse into Nepal’s medieval past. It’s a place where time seems to stand still, and exploring its Buddhist monasteries and traditional Tibetan-style homes gives a deep sense of connection to the region’s history and spiritual life.

Throughout the journey, you’ll ride through stunning landscapes that vary from lush valleys and river crossings to stark desert-like terrain. The roads are often rocky and bumpy, making the ride challenging but incredibly rewarding. You’ll have the opportunity to visit sacred sites, relax in natural hot springs, and immerse yourself in local culture. After completing the bike tour, you’ll return to Pokhara and then Kathmandu, where you’ll have a free day to explore the capital’s vibrant markets, historic temples, and scenic spots like Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple). The trip ends with your transfer to the airport for your return flight, leaving you with memories of a truly unique adventure through Nepal’s rugged beauty and spiritual heart.
