Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal! Upon your arrival, a representative from Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition will be there to greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. After you’ve had a chance to refresh, you’ll be picked up from your hotel lobby and taken to our office in Thamel. There, you’ll meet your Bike Tour guide/leader and have the opportunity to check out the motorcycles that will be used during your trip.

We’ll go over your entire itinerary, making sure every detail is in place, and ensure that all arrangements are confirmed for a smooth journey ahead. During this meeting, we’ll also ask you to bring your passport, extra passport photos, and a copy of your travel insurance. Get ready to experience the incredible adventure of Nepal on two wheels!

After a hearty breakfast, your motorbike adventure through Nepal will begin! You’ll ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a stunning city known for its natural beauty and as the gateway to some of Nepal’s top trekking destinations. The journey will take around 7-8 hours, covering approximately 200 kilometers.

As you travel, the road winds through hilly terrain, with plenty of twists and turns and only a few straight stretches. To ensure a smooth and safe ride, it’s crucial to follow your guide’s directions and signals along the way. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you’ll have the evening to relax and enjoy this beautiful city before your next adventure.

After breakfast, your motorbike journey continues towards Muktinath, a sacred temple revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The ride will take around 7-8 hours, leading you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Nepal.

Along the way, you’ll pass through the bustling town of Beni, then head to Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs, and on to Jomsom. After Beni, the road turns to off-road terrain, but around 20 kilometers before reaching the village of Marpha, the road becomes paved again.

Today's ride promises to be both stunning and adventurous, as you'll pass through waterfalls, villages, jungles, and rivers, all while navigating a variety of terrains. Finally, you’ll arrive in Muktinath, a beautiful village perched at an altitude of 3,762 meters. You’ll spend the night here, taking in the peaceful atmosphere of this holy site in the heart of Nepal.

Before breakfast, you’ll take a peaceful walk to the Muktinath temple to offer your prayers and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere. The temple is known for its 108 taps, where pilgrims walk from one end to the other, allowing the holy water to wash over them. Afterward, you can take a dip in the two sacred ponds, completing the ritual. Once your visit is complete, return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast.

After breakfast, you’ll continue your motorbike journey, heading towards Dhakmar, a scenic village in Nepal. The ride to Dhakmar will take around 5-6 hours, and the roads can be quite rocky and bumpy, so it may feel a bit tiring at times. However, the landscape along the way makes it all worth it. You’ll pass through stunning views of unique rock formations and an almost desert-like environment, offering a truly remarkable experience.

You’ll reach Dhakmar by the afternoon, around 3-4 pm, giving you plenty of time to rest and explore the village. Dhakmar is known for its beautiful Tibetan-style houses and the breathtaking natural landscapes that surround it. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of Nepal’s rugged terrain. You’ll spend the night here, ready for more adventures ahead.

After breakfast, you'll continue your motorbike journey towards Lo Manthang, the ancient capital of the Mustang region in Nepal. The ride is relatively short, taking around 4-5 hours, with a scenic stop along the way to visit the beautiful Ghar Gumba monastery. This peaceful stop allows you to soak in the spiritual energy of the place before continuing on to Lo Manthang.

Lo Manthang, located at an altitude of 3,840 meters, was once the walled capital of the Kingdom of Lo. Founded in 1380 A.D. by Ame Pal, who oversaw the construction of the city wall and many other structures, Lo Manthang still bears the marks of its rich history. The village is made up of whitewashed mud-brick buildings, which give it a distinctive, timeless look.

This charming village is a labyrinth of narrow alleys, and it’s steeped in rich Buddhist culture, making it the perfect place to explore on foot. You’ll have the day to wander around, taking in the sights and learning about the traditions that have shaped this unique part of Nepal. After a day of exploration, you'll spend the night in Lo Manthang, surrounded by the beauty and serenity of this historic kingdom.

After breakfast, you’ll ride towards the stunning Chosar Valley, a place rich in history and natural beauty. Your first stop will be the Shija Jhong Cave, located near Chhoser village. This cave is one of nearly 10,000 man-made caves in Upper Mustang, and it dates back over 2,500 years. The Shija Jhong Cave is a remarkable 5-story structure with more than 40 rooms, each filled with ancient mysteries. On the fifth floor, you'll find large carved holes that were once used as windows. The view from these windows is absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic glimpse of the surrounding valley and mountains.

After exploring the cave, you’ll continue your ride to visit the Niphu Gompa and Garphu Gompa, both of which are important monasteries in the region. These peaceful spots offer a glimpse into the rich Buddhist culture of Upper Mustang.

Finally, you’ll ride back to Lo Manthang, where you’ll spend the night, reflecting on the incredible history and beauty of this remote part of Nepal. It’s a day full of exploration, culture, and stunning landscapes, all wrapped up in the serene atmosphere of the Mustang region.

After breakfast, you'll begin your ride back to Tatopani, a scenic 7-8 hour journey through Nepal's rugged terrain. Along the way, you'll make a lunch stop in either Kagbeni or Jomsom, two charming towns where you can rest and refuel for the remainder of the ride.

Once you arrive in Tatopani, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax in the natural hot springs. These therapeutic waters are a great way to soothe your muscles after the long day on the motorbike and help your body recover from the adventure.

After breakfast, you'll continue your ride back to Pokhara, retracing the same scenic route you took on Day 3. The journey will take around 5-6 hours, giving you plenty of time to soak in the beautiful landscapes of Nepal once again. The winding roads, lush greenery, and picturesque views of the mountains will make the ride both relaxing and invigorating.

Once you reach Pokhara, you’ll have the evening free to unwind in this beautiful lakeside city. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Pokhara before settling in for the night, ready for whatever adventure comes next.

After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic views of Nepal along the way. Once you arrive, you'll have the rest of the day to relax and explore the vibrant capital at your own pace. Whether you want to stroll through the bustling streets of Thamel, visit local shops, or simply unwind, the day is yours to enjoy.

Spend your last night in Kathmandu soaking in the city's unique charm, with its mix of culture, history, and modern energy. It's the perfect way to wrap up your incredible journey through Nepal.

Today is a free day in Kathmandu, giving you the chance to explore this vibrant city at your own pace.
