After breakfast, depart for Ninh Binh, home to two of the most popular sightseeing destinations in Vietnam—Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. This scenic journey takes approximately two hours.

Upon arrival, explore Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Vietnam’s capital from 968 to 1009 under the Dinh and Le dynasties. Visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, gaining insights into Vietnam’s feudal dynasties and rich heritage.

In the afternoon, take a short walk to the boat station and embark on a two-hour boat trip through Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land." Glide along the Ngo Dong River, surrounded by breathtaking limestone mountains, lush rice paddies, and ancient temples. Journey through the three famous caves—Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba, each offering stunning natural formations.

In the morning, depart from your Hanoi hotel for a scenic drive to Halong Bay, a must-visit destination in your Vietnam itinerary. Travel through the lush farmlands of the Red River Delta, where you can witness the everyday life of Vietnamese villagers—tending rice fields, transporting livestock on bicycles, and ploughing fields with water buffaloes.

Upon arrival in Halong Bay, board a traditional sailing junk and be welcomed by the crew team, who will ensure a luxurious and comfortable experience. As the cruise sets sail, explore the Bay of the Descending Dragon, home to breathtaking limestone formations, pristine beaches, floating villages, and mystical caves—a true highlight of any Vietnam itinerary.

For early risers, start your day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at dawn, embracing the tranquil beauty of Halong Bay. Enjoy a light breakfast, followed by a colorful brunch, as you continue sailing past 2,000 stunning islets and visiting some of the bay’s iconic highlights.

After disembarking, the cruise shuttle bus will drop you off at your hotel lobby. From there, our driver (no guide) will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, between 07:00 – 07:30 AM, your tour guide will pick you up to begin your journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a significant part of your Vietnam itinerary. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an expansive network of interconnected tunnels near Saigon, originally built by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots to protect them from the French, and later expanded to serve as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals, and living quarters during the Vietnam-American War. A guided tour offers a deeper understanding of the hardships of underground life and the resilience of the Vietnamese. You'll even have the chance to enter a section of the tunnels to experience firsthand the secrets of this underground network. Additionally, your guide will showcase various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and B52 bomb craters. For those interested, there’s also the opportunity to fire an M60, M16, or AK47 rifle at the nearby shooting range.

After the Cu Chi Tunnels, return to Saigon and embark on a city tour to explore the city’s historic landmarks. Visit the Presidential Palace, once the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the Vietnam-American War, and the War Remnants Museum for a vivid Vietnamese perspective on the war. Continue to the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red-brick church with twin spires inspired by the original in Paris, and the Central Post Office, an architectural gem designed by Gustave Eiffel.

You’ll end the day with an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, you’ll have the morning at leisure to relax or explore on your own. Later, your private vehicle (without a guide) will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight.
